Enby led, managed and owned

Almost exclusively operated by /theys, The Queer Emporium is a home for minority genders and strives to create an affirming safe space with needed events and workshops for the community.

Refreshments and food

Locally sourced, plant based and made by LGBTQ+ folks, our drinks and cakes are everything your homophobic Great Aunt would fear. Try our famous BisexualiTea (that changes colour) or The Camp Disco Diva (a rose and hibiscus lemonade with glitter) named after local legend Victoria Scone!

Access to The Queer Emporium can be via our shop front entrance, which includes a step or via our side entrance, which is level with the ground. There is also a disabled toilet on site. You can find out how to get to use on the Find Us page.
